Reprinted from Cast on Magazine, where her latest pattern can be found on page 34.

Sharon's grandmother taught her to knit when she was nine and she has been knitting off and on for many years. She become a serious knitter when she worked in a small yarn shop in Ohio in the 1970's and for about the last ten years at Spin a Yarn in Edmonds, Washington, north of Seattle. She started working on the Master Hand Knitting Program in April 2007, and says that she's learned since then has been invaluable, both for her own knitting and for her classes.
